100 - Glutton for Punishment

Ritual: Glutton for Punishment

Cost: 3 minor charges.

Ritual Action: Take a small idol carved from the bones of a beloved pet depicting someone either obscenely fat or equally as skinny. Mummify it in a long strip of paper with the target’s name written on it. Eat a full meal and then swallow the idol. Keep eating until you feel nauseous, sick enough you need to make some kind of roll to keep your food down (either Fitness or an identity like Competitive Eater).

Take a scourge with three tails and march down a public street, shirtless, flagellating yourself. Chant the words, “Ako ang kinakain ko” repeatedly during the act. Continue until you throw up.

Effect: If the ritual is successful, your vomit matches the target’s stomach contents except for the idol. Retrieving the idol and unwrapping it reveals the last bad thing someone did to them in detail, written on the strip of paper (the ritual doesn't count unless you've used it repeatedly and nothing bad has been done in the interim). If the paper strip is too small it lists what it can and cuts off mid sentence. For a week afterwards both you and the target are either ravenous (if the idol was fat) or struggle to eat and keep food down (if the idol was skinny). Cast repeatedly, it's a good way to mess with someone’s physical well being at the expense of your own. The bone idol may be reused in future castings.
