Ritual Action: People occasionally need a little help overcoming their addictions (or indulging in them guiltlessly). Make a cat o' nine tails from the leather of an animal you slaughtered yourself. Incorporate the object of your addiction into the construction, tan the leather with alcohol, bind the handle with casino tickets, etc. Scourge your flesh with it under either neon light or a gibbous moon. Do at least 1 wound of damage.
Effect: As long as the injury remains you will not crave the object of your addiction. If you choose to indulge it will have no effect on you: you could knock back a handle of vodka and your blood alcohol level would sit at exactly zero. You can re-up the effect by maintaining the injury without making another ritual roll. You may only ever have one whip, if it is destroyed you cannot make another.
